Construction and infrastructure

Like you, we want to see our environment and communities thrive, both now and into the future.

With decades of experience living and working locally, we know the roads and landmarks of the Brigalow Belt and Mulga Lands bioregion like the backs of our hands.

If you are in the construction or infrastructure industries, we can work closely with you on small and large scale construction projects, including road, rail and other built infrastructure, which contribute to growth and improvement in the region and more broadly.

Our team specialises in assessments of ecological value and potential constraints for linear infrastructure such as pipelines, powerline easements, rail lines and roads.

Our experience

At Boobook Ecological Consulting, we have undertaken ecological assessments along every main road in south west Queensland and collected detailed information on vegetation types, rare flora populations, threatened flora habitats and weed infestations.

Our consultants have discovered previously undocumented populations of plants of conservation significance including Ooline Cadellia pentastylis, the daisy Rutidosis lanata, and the heath-myrtle Micromyrtus rotundifolia
