Boobook is a highly reputable ecological consulting business in southwest Queensland that specialises in flora and fauna surveys, habitat assessments, rare and threatened species searches and other ecological assessments. Desirable skills

To be successful in the role you will need to have:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar job role
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in ecology, environmental science or similar
  • A thorough understanding of the all relevant legislative and methodology requirements for environmental impact assessments
  • Experience in complex flora, fauna and threatened species surveys
  • People management, client liaison and project management experience
  • Energy and enthusiasm to help develop the company
  • High level problem-solving, innovation and analytical skills
  • High level written communication for reports, scientific papers etc
  • A manual drivers licence, preferably also with off-road experience.
