Desirable skills

To be successful in the role you will need to have:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar job role
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in ecology, environmental science or similar
  • A thorough understanding of the all relevant legislative and methodology requirements for environmental impact assessments
  • Experience in complex flora, fauna and threatened species surveys
  • People management, client liaison and project management experience
  • Energy and enthusiasm to help develop the company
  • High level problem-solving, innovation and analytical skills
  • High level written communication for reports, scientific papers etc
  • A manual drivers licence, preferably also with off-road experience.
